Fenstercraft Aluminium: Part of the Best 2025 Baltic Residential Project

The unique residential complex "Kauko vilos," recently completed in Kaunas' Žaliakalnis district, has achieved exceptional international recognition. At a prestigious awards ceremony, it was named the Best 2025 Residential Project in the Baltic States.

The Fenstercraft Aluminium team proudly contributed to the realization of this ambitious, premium-class architectural landmark, serving as the subcontractor for the aluminium windows, doors, and facade systems. The architectural vision demanded exceptional quality, visual lightness, and deep respect for the historic context of Kaunas modernism. To meet the highest standards of energy efficiency, acoustics, and aesthetics, Fenstercraft Aluminium engineered and installed state-of-the-art German Schüco aluminium systems:

• FWS 50.SI and FWS 35 – ultra-slim profile facade systems that ensure maximum light transmission and structural elegance.
• ASE 80.HI and ASS 77 PD.HI – high-thermal-insulation sliding systems with Panorama Design, creating a seamless transition from the apartments to private balconies.
• AWS 75.SI and AWS 75 PD.SI – integrated window systems characterized by long-term durability and flawless airtightness.
• AD UP 75 – exceptionally stable and secure door systems.

A standout technical highlight of the project was the "Seamless Integration" solution. Fenstercraft Aluminium specialists successfully integrated the Schüco ASS 77 PD.HI sliding system with the FWS 35 facade system. This integration concealed the profiles to create a completely frameless glass effect, guaranteeing panoramic views without any visual obstructions.
