PAS 24 Class Standard:

A UK standard developed by the British Standards Institution.

Testing focuses on the entire window or door system (frames, locks, hinges, and glass) to ensure all components work together to minimize the risk of a break-in.

This is a single-level security standard, generally comparable to RC2 (depending on product quality).

If you have children or pets, we always recommend tempered or laminated glass.

Choosing standard glass for doors or windows carries a risk: upon impact, it breaks into large, sharp shards that can cause serious injury.

For a safe yet budget-friendly solution, we recommend tempered glass. It is strengthened and, if broken, shatters into small, blunt fragments.

The highest level of safety is provided by laminated glass. It is exceptionally impact-resistant. Even if it breaks, the internal films hold the glass in place. This structure also provides UV protection and enhanced sound insulation.
